The invisible worlds.

Photosensitive papers react to chemical and mechanical stimuli and give rise to new visual playgrounds.

Using a scanner, these raw materials are magnified to reveal what our own eyes could not see.

Like the importance of the photographic distance, a fair distance to the enlarged material changes the visual cues while maintaining an anchor towards possible universes. This crucial point, specific to each material and reaction, allows the reappropriation of the forms and textures offered.

The photographic exploration here resembles the virtual displacement of a territory impossible to embrace in its entirety, which one drags, pivots, reframes until one finds the obvious evocation of places that stood there, hidden.

Inkjet prints, variable formats and papers, 2020-2022.
